Born and raised in the Midwest, Lela began working summers in high school as an office admin for her family’s construction business.  After graduating from Indiana University, she seized an opportunity to travel the US as a PR representative for Winston Motor Sports, publicizing and organizing events for the NHRA & NASCAR series.

Upon relocating to Southern California, she accumulated a decade of experience in marketing,  communication, event management and sales within the sectors of entertainment, tech and non-profit fundraising. For the past 12 years, she has operated her own firm, offering project management and accounting services to a wide variety of design & build companies, including real estate developers, architects, general contractors, structural engineers, landscape and interior designers throughout Central and Southern CA.

VSG is dedicated to expanding the footprint of its manufacturers beyond their traditional market vertical, while creating a single source solution for its showroom, wholesale and project partners.  The team is responsible for the sale of decorative plumbing, hardware, cabinetry and architectural products throughout 12 states within the Western, Northwestern and Southwestern US territories.

Passionate about sustainable design & build practices, Lela supports the US Green Building Council's mission to "transform the way buildings and communities are designed, built and operated, enabling an environmentally and socially responsible, healthy and prosperous environment that improves the quality of life".

​

She is invested in developing green building solutions that create emerging markets for new, innovative  products, such as materials derived from industrial hemp.  She is an active member of The USGBC, The Building Industry Association of Southern CA, The National Industrial Hemp Council, The US Hemp Building Association and The Decorative Plumbing and Hardware Association.
